About Everson Elementary School
Serving the community of Everson on Everson-Goshen Road since 1993, Everson Elementary welcomes students from kindergarten through fifth grade, along with offering early childhood programs. Current principal Kevin DeVere, who was previously a teacher in the district, leads a talented staff serving about 290 students.

A Note from Principal, Kevin DeVere
I have worked in the Nooksack Valley School District since 1994. I am currently the principal of Everson Elementary School and have also been the assistant principal at Nooksack Valley Middle School and an elementary teacher. I hold a bachelor of arts degree in English, a masters degree in education and administrative certification from Western Washington University.
I am very proud to be part of this district and the incredible team of people at Everson Elementary School who work tirelessly for our students and families. They inspire me to think differently and learn everyday and I appreciate that very much. The poet says it best -
Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The trouble makers.
The ones who see things differently...
...Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world,
