Eight Nooksack Valley High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) students traveled to Spokane last week for the state conference, coming home with impressive results. 
 
Blue Hankins and Hendrick Rogers placed second in broadcast journalism, Jacqui Rodriguez and Chase Hughes earned second in digital video production and Claire Morgan and Lalanie Slosson finished third in broadcast journalism. All six students qualified for the national conference—the highest percentage of competitors at state qualifying for nationals out of any other Washington school—later this school year in San Antonio.
